Community

The Urantia Voice community is growing. We want to give platform to intelligent and civil discussion of spirituality. To learn more about submitting essays and events, visit our submissions desk, or to visit our events page to learn about upcoming events.

We are friendly with, but not sponsored by, any of the Urantia Book organizations. Below is a list of Urantia organizations.

Urantia Foundation

Urantia Foundation was established in 1950 to be the custodian of the inviolate text of The Urantia Book and to disseminate the book’s teachings with the help of readers and fraternal organizations. It is a non-profit, educational foundation that operates under a Declaration of Trust. Urantia Foundation has been printing the book in English since 1955, and has translated the book into over 17 languages, with more translations in progress. The organization consists of a Board of Trustees, Associate Trustees, a staff, and multiple volunteers. Urantia Foundation also operates Urantia Book Internet School.

Urantia Association International

Urantia Association International is an international group of students of The Urantia Book who want to share the book and its teachings. Organized in the early 1990’s, it serves as a central hub of information and outreach about the teachings of The Urantia Book worldwide. The UAI organizes and sponsors national and international conferences, provides reader services, publications, forums in various languages, and numerous other services and projects.

Urantia Book Fellowship

The Urantia Book Fellowship is the continuation of the Forum, the social organization of believers which reviewed The Urantia Papers prior to their publication and formed Urantia Brotherhood in 1955.  The Fellowship seeks to coordinate the efforts of all readers to study The Urantia Book, to grow spiritually, to foster community, and to participate in the world-wide spread of the book and its teachings. The Urantia Book Fellowship is unaffiliated with Urantia Foundation. It publishes a fully indexed edition of The Urantia Book through its internal publishing agency, Uversa Press. The Fellowship is managed by a General Council which consists of 36 members elected from the readership. An Executive Committee comprised of Council members manage various working committees of The Fellowship.
